Future Freshman Information

Welcome, future Jackrabbits! The PACE (Program of Additional Curricular Experiences) program at Long Beach Poly High School is designed for academically motivated students seeking a challenging and enriching high school experience. PACE emphasizes rigorous college-prep coursework, critical thinking, and leadership development to prepare students for top universities and beyond.

To be eligible for PACE, students must meet the following requirements:

For half a century, PACE has been shaping the minds of ambitious students at Long Beach Poly High School. Established in 1975, PACE was designed to provide a rigorous, college-preparatory program that challenges students through an advanced curriculum. To this day, PACE has remained a beacon of opportunity, attracting top students from across Long Beach and preparing them for success in higher education and beyond. The PACE course of study ensures that our graduates will have the strength of schedule needed to gain acceptance to, and excel in, the most competitive universities. In addition, the flexibility offered by our course sequence allows PACE students to pursue a wide range of extracurricular activities as they explore their individual interests at Poly.
