Maya- Class of 2015

Earned her undergraduate degree from Seattle U in 2019 and her masters from the University of Washington in 2020. She’s an elementary school counselor in Seattle.

“PACE prepared me for college. My writing skills were honed in starting freshman year! While I thought PACe was challenging throughout high school, I felt like it made my transition to college so simple. I felt confident with my school work and knew how to manage my time so that I could balance school, work and a social life. It was amazing to have teachers that were so dedicated to ensuring my success as well. I felt supported and loved and am thankful to have been in such a strong program”

Marco- Class of 2016

Earned a B.S. in Environmental Geoscience and just finished a research fellowship with NOAA and is now working as a technician in a climate research laboratory.

“PACE taught me how to handle a workload and prepared me for what to expect in college. In my undergraduate years I began as a journalism major and was in a sense overly prepared for what SDSU was throwing at me and it was very easy. Once I changed my major to environmental geoscience I felt like I was well prepared for it and was able to fall back on my nights of studying and preparation and the strong work ethic I developed in the PACE Program.
