Dr. Jalal Torabzadeh
Long Beach Poly’s PACE program is one of the most effective high school programs in the country. It has the most knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated faculty and staff who go beyond their responsibilities to ensure the highest quality education for the students. It has produced the top high school graduates in the nation who are competing with graduates from elite private high schools which are spending 10x or more resources to do the same thing. As a University professor who has worked with top graduates from various national and international high schools for many years, I can attest to the high quality of Poly PACE graduates who have surpassed many national merit scholars and have shown time and time again to have incredible problem-solving skills that many university students are lacking.
Professor Jalal Torabzadeh is Chair of the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department and Coordinator of the Mechanical and Petroleum Engineering programs at CSULB. More importantly, he is the parent of two PACE Students, Hamid and Naveed Torabzadeh.
